Selecting the right clock cable for your clock movement can be a little tricky. We have come up with a few helpful tips when selecting the correct clock cable. The right cable is selected based on the dimensions of the groove on the barrel or the groove on the pulley. It is also important to keep in mind the weight; the heavier the weight the thicker the cable must be. For accurate purchasing, we suggest that you measure your existing cable and a little extra to the diameter as over the years the cable stretches and becomes thinner. For example, if your cable measures 1.05 mm in diameter, round up and make it 1.10 mm.
